Truck Driving School
Anyone have experience with any training schools and can recommend one?

jw - I am currently in the logistics industry, so have some knowledge of this subject.
On an overall basis, there are many good driving schools who will train you, but you will need at least $1000 for the school.
Another option is trucking companies that will train you, but will make you sign a contract that you have to drive for them for XX months or pay them back the tuition.
Their tuition is usually in excess of $5000 and they will give you all the worst jobs for the term of that contract.

Ive seen some of the horror stories about that. Looking into seeing if the job center offers training to poor folks like me. If not I can scrape that grand in about a month.

It shouldnt be a problem. For my size Im remarkably healthy as far as tests and vitals go. Can get short of breath with exertion but bp and heart rate are great. Not diabetic. Cholesterol is fine etc.

Learn something new every day. I didn't realize there was a required DOT physical to be a truck driver.
