Nona Freeman's CHRISTmas Message
Post #1Nona Freeman wrote 41 minutes ago
Sister Nona Freeman's CHRISTmas Message 2009:
'Jesus; the gift to the world that became The Giver of Salvation and Eternal Life!'
'JESUS IS THE REASON FOR THE SEASON"
To all my Dear Friends,
We celebrate His birth everyday, not just at CHRISTmas time. His coming brought REDEMPTION to this world. My favorite CHRISTmas poem is:
If you look for me at CHRISTmas,
You won't need a special star-
I'm no longer just in Bethlehem,
I'm right there where you are.
You may not be aware of 'Me',
Amid the celebrations,
You'll have to look beyond the stores,
And all the decorations.
But if you take a moment,
From your list of things to do,
And listen to your heart,
You'll find, I'm waiting there for you.
You're the one I want to be with,
You're the reason that I came,
And you'll find me in the stillness,
As I'm whispering your name.
Love, Jesus
As my strength is waning, my faith and trust in Him becomes greater! The Gift, He gave us so many Christmas's ago is still vibrant and beautiful.
May you have a blessed Christmas and a prosperous New Year.
May the Christ child become more of a reality in your life and may you celebrate His birth everyday.
Blessings to you and yours, Nona Freeman Christmas 2009

Did she write this 41 minutes ago or was it just posted then? I can't fathom her writing in her condition, but I have heard just before someone passes on they get better and you think they will revive but they don't. Not trying to be pessimistic, but I truly believe it is her time to go home to her Savior.

Yes she is. A warrior that fought the fight and won many a battle.

This is an exerpt from the update on Sis. Freeman, Dec. 18,2009.
We will be posting her holiday and New Years message to her loved ones on all her forums in the next few days.
I assume Sis. Freeman had prepared the messages in advance.
Hugs,
Falla39

12.21.09 HEALTH UPDATE FOR NONA FREEMAN:
No change; still extremely weak and unable to care for or do anything at all for herself and has not been able to for some time. One thing that is strong is her faith! She is so ready to see 'My Bug' her beloved husband of 62 years. She is resting as comfortable as possible. Please continue to pray.
