Just because someone has sat on a pew for years, doesn't make them a Christian. Just like me going into a garage doesn't make me a mechanic. I could spend years watching someone else fix a vehicle, but I'd never be a mechanic without getting involved. I could make the same analogy of computer repair (my chosen field), or pretty much any other profession out there.

Where one spends their time doesn't automatically determine their vocation.
