What hurts the UPCI is nepotism. Sure, every local church is autonomous, but there are no safeguards in place to ensure that the local churches do not turn into pastoral autocracies. Just as is the case with the AG and SBC, mandatory deacon boards should be established.

I wonder if Dante would consider the PAW to be "racist" for its lack of non-blacks in leadership.

That’s what the early Catholic Church wanted to stop. Hence the reason they came up with celebite priests. No families, no sons and daughters to take property.
