I don't mind remembering once in a while.
How bout lost in the fifties tonight? Really liked that one as well.

You know, Ronnie Milsap, in spite of his blindness, was one of the most accomplished live entertainers I have ever seen! He was amazing!

I got tickets to his concert for Mother's Day - it's Sept. 14th!!!!!!
Renda,

One of the bands I played in before coming back to the Lord was called Just Bluffin'. the lead singer, a cajun boy named Gene Guillot, sounded amazingly like Michael McDonald so you can guess that we played a lot of Doobie brothers tunes! He is a great talent.

all right, I have gone back and looked and I do not recall seeing anyone name a great singer and a great group... Lionel Richie and the Commodores.

You couldn't slow dance or dance period in the 80s if they didn't play something by the Commodores or Lionel!

Started listening to Christian music in the mid 80's beginning with Amy Grant and Kathy Tricolli.

Did you know that he has been married to the same women? She has always taken care of him. I love that!

All right - kindred spirits! lol

I have a CD by Sandi Patti - Via DelaRosa is my favorite. That song is like reading the gospels over again!

I liked Twila pretty well and I do like Michael W. Smith. Have a couple of his CDs.

Bopper is right! I've taken out all the the artists I didn't listen to in the 80's.
Kinda shortened that list, ya think?

Well, I'm definitely OLDER, but never was into the hippie scene, other than my 70's denim bell bottoms and a few love beads. That's as hippie-ish as my dad would allow.

Michael McDonald is a Christian now. He's pretty outspoken about it in interviews.
