I carelessly placed my Thompson Chain Reference Bible on the front of my car years ago. My daughters saw the Bible fly off the hood, my wife went to go find it on the highway but not a trace.

That would be an encouragement not only for me but the church family here in Fort Lauderdale. But, even as I type I think, should we accept only good things from the hand of God and never anything bad? While the loss is a problem, how big of a problem is it for Jesus? If I'm to learn anything from this I want to be educated. Be more careful how I place things in my pocket? Or just be more careful? I have brothers who never lock anything because they believe it is a lack of faith. I lock everything because I don't believe that I should disregard my duties as a steward to place it all on Jesus. While Jesus did know that if He leaped from the Temple He would be rescued, He still wasn't to expect it through presumptuous carelessness. So, praise the Lord in anyway this works itself out.
