Is it really revival?

It it really revival when the ones hosting it do not have the truth about salvation?

Can one really have a TRUE Revival without preaching the oneness of God and the Acts 2:38 plan of salvation?

I do not believe one can hold to false doctrine and have a real Apostolic revival.

So a revival amongst unbelievers is not a move of God?

There have been major revivals all over the world that haven't been Acts 2:38 centered as we think of it.

  • 1734 New England
  • 1735 Wales
  • 1739 England
  • 1800-1839 Ranters Revival
  • 1858 Awakening in America
  • 1859 Ulster
  • 1859 Britain
  • 1904 Wales
  • 1949 The Hebrides Revival
  • The Latin American Explosion
  • The Long Arm of Armenian Destiny
  • Africa - God's Wind of Change
  • The Korean Pentecost
  • The China Miracle
  • Indonesia -Revolution and Revival

What about the Azusa Street revival?

Good point. It is just hard to see winning souls with a false doctrine. JMHO

Well I became a born again believer before all the dots were connected. They got connected later though.

Lots of people get a start in revivals who later come to know "truth" as most Oneness Apostolic folks do. How many people first came to Christ in a Billy Graham crusade or perhaps at some other type of meeting but they were later led or came in contact with the Acts 2:38 message that we all preach?

Many!

So are you saying that a person can be born again without the Acts 2:38 message?

44While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word.

45And they of the circumcision which believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost.

46For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God. Then answered Peter,

47Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we?

48And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord. Then prayed they him to tarry certain days.

huh?
