I post scripture in a high percentage of my posts. It is scripture. What it is NOT is hog wash. Some scripture I know you cannot post are:
1.Any scripture showing anybody in the Bible ever tithed money. This is inconvenient for you but it’s true.
2. Any scripture saying that being a pastor, prophet or preacher entitled anybody to tithes in the New or Old Testaments. It is a fact that there were prophets in the Old Testament that were other than Levites. David is an example of such. Jesus in the New Testament is another.
So was David, who was a prophet but not a Levite, eligible to receive tithes? No. There is a misconception that being a prophet or a preacher or a pastor entitled a person to tithes even in the Old Testament. This is false. Being a widow got you tithes. Being a stranger got you tithes. Being an orphan got you tithes. Being a Levite, whether or not you were a priest got you tithes. Being a prophet, preacher, or pastor but otherwise not a Levite? Maybe got you crows bringing you lunch but NO tithes.
According to the scripture . . .
Which is NOT hog wash. Read your Bible.
Bring the goods.
