You know the hymns by page number, and know all the words by heart.

Your 10 year old can quote more bible than the typical theology student.

When discussing fond childhood memories, at least a few are of awesome services.

Teenagers' moral delimas center on whether to use colored lip gloss, concealer, or clear nail polish.

Although you have a point, I do remember a time when I did get mowed down by a young woman in church. I was trying to get out of her way but didn't know where to go because her eyes were closed.

We used to have this lady who sang in the choir.... when she 'got blessed' she would just EXPLODE like a bomb.

She would just be standing there, and then BOOM. You'd better be out of the way, or she'd send you flying like a rocket.

We used to fuss over who had to stand in front of her in the choir.

We had a few ladies in our church that really went off like a bomb when they got prayed for.

A Visiting preacher called one up and asked the ladies to gather around her. I was on the platform and the pastor leaned over and said "He's setting them up for a fall".

This may be the real reason preachers preached against open-toed shoes. They're just not safe around the altar.
