Bro Mahaney passed away

I know there is a thread already in the prayer section. an we leave this here for the day?

Bro Mahaney passed away this morning. He was hemmoraging in his stomach and his kidneys failed. They gave him blood all night, the bleeding never stopped. I hope to have more details later. we are all in shock. when i know about the funeral arrangements, i will pass it along.

such a sad day for us. all i know is HEAVEN WILL NEVER BE THE SAME WITH CHARLIE THERE! :-)

That is for sure. I am sure he and Bro Albert Dillon will get together to share old times.

Was this a sudden thing? Had he been sick before this happened?

I loved to hear Bro. Mahaney!! He will be missed greatly!! What a wonderful life he lead!!

I will be in prayer for his family.

he had had some swelling in his legs over the last few weeks. when i asked him how he felt, he said WORRY ABOUT STONEKING, HE IS 3 YEARS OLDER THAN ME! i never got a straight answer out of him....that is just his way. i think the last few weeks he knew something wasnt right.

One of the first messages i heard Bro.Mahaney preach was on the Holy Ghost-the Gift Jesus Gave His Momma!

There never was and never will be anyone quite like him.

I remember lots of things about him, his sermons his incredible wit...he had us rolling in the isles.

I'll never forget how he worked those teeth sitting on the platform before he got up to preach.

God is a wonderful, loving God, and I am sure they will celebrate his life and the effects he had on so many people.
