Can't say I hate this administration like I thought I would. Mostly because fortunatly he has been unable to mess up a whole lot. Much of what he campaigned on he has not been able to bring into effect. It's almost as if the country is just sitting in idle through out his term.

In fact I think that the insinuation of "hateful" Pentecostals is coming mostly from the fertile imaginations of bitter, backslidden ex Apostolics who are constantly trying to find a way to justify their actions. ~ strait shooter
Yeah, his comments went beyond policy disagreements, but were downright rude, personal attacks and insulting. Not becoming of an officer to a superior.

personally I fined myself being more contemptuous of Obama than hating the guy. He really is a blithering idiot.

Nobody has caused more division in this country than BO (blame only) This is just the tip of the iceberg, as to how the military feels about this backstabbing israel hating, great britain dispising, miserable excuse of a president.
I have not read this whole thread, but McCrystal had to know what he was doing. He has been in charge of the Covert Special Forces, a general and a West Point Grad., plenty of experience with politics. My opinion is that this was his way of bowing out- he thought he was going to get the blame for failure of the Afgan. offensive. He felt he was going to be the "fall guy". I do not agree with the way he did it, but it was effective.
If you read the entire article (All 6 pages) you will discover that his troops were getting mad at him for being handcuffed while trying to fight the war. His orders from "The Boss" were to fight in such a manner and I'm sure being a warrior himself he got tired of it. You can see the frustration in his face...
Well of course he did it on purpose. But before we start trying to delve into the reasons, there are some pretty important things to keep in mind.
First Gen. M voted for Obama. He isnt a right wing guy looking to hurt Obama.
Second when he offered his resignation, he did not offer his retirement. Nor did Obama seek to put him out of the Army.
So he has not intent to go on all the talk shows and put Obama down and thus become a hero to the right.
So the question is why did he do it?
To put Petraius in a bad situation to make him look bad and be the scape goat for a failed Obama policy in afghanistan?
