Family killed by drunk driver

I would like to ask for prayer for my cousins family. They were driving home Saturday evening when they were hit head on by a drunk driver. My cousins husband is in critical condition. His Dad, Mom and youngest sister were all killed on impact. In just a matter of seconds, he lost nearly his entire family and two sweet boys have lost their Mama and their Grandparents. Your prayers would be greatly appreciated.

My heat ached when I read this story. This is such a horrible tragedy. I will be praying for your cousin and all of the surviving family and friends.

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.

"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.

"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."

Certainly will pray. Very tragic. Was your cousin involved in the accident as well?

Re: Family killed by drunk driver

To those of you who have been so kind in praying for our family during this time of mourning, I thank you! It never ceases to amaze me that in times of need how complete strangers are willing to come together in prayer for others. My family and I truly appreciate each and everyone of you who have remembered us in prayer. May God bless each of you.

Thankfully Leigh was not in the car. An hour before leaving, she and the children decided to stay home. Her husband is still in critical condition. Out of the four people in their vehicle, KG is the only survivor. The driver of the other car walked away with no injuries. It has since come to light that this was not his first DUI offense. Funeral services will be tomorrow at 3:00. Unfortunately KG will not be able to attend. Please continue to keep them in you're prayers as they try to pick up the pieces of their lives. God bless
