Only a REAL Beaver Believer would have thought it possible to beat the #1 ranked USC Trojans! *happydance*
The Oregon State University team took the field with a vengeance and scored the first touchdown of the game on their first possession. By halftime the Trojans were still scoreless, and down 21-0! WOOT!
They continued in the second half with a great performance, but the Trojans were able to score 3 TDs. By the end of the 4th quarter, the Beavers held them at bay, just one TD up, ending the game with a final score 21-27.

I can't stand USC or any team that is such a darling in whatever league they play in. I hate that they jumped over Georgia in the first place. I bet they will not fall anywhere near to where they deserve to in the rankings. The loser of the Georgia/Alabama game better be ranked way ahead of them on Monday.

We stayed up until 11:30 to watch the game and were cheering for the Beavers all the way!!!!! I listened to the radio gurus while running errands today and of course they are saying USC could still be national champ because this loss is early in the season. Why don't they give it up!!!!!!!!!!
