I think you should try truth tabernacle or one of his 5 daughter works in Fresno... I think you will like it and VM is a very good man.

Vaughn Morton is the Pastor...if you like that fine.
Pretty harsh words to say about a church that u obviously know nothing about.

I think it would be a good idea to vist both of these churches and then decide. I personally would consider elder morton conservative but not a controlling type of pastor at all and a well balanced pastor. The church has some good music too.

How would you know I know nothing about it?

Im VERY well aware of Vaughn Morton. I have had contact with members to so I know a big about that church.

I don't believe what I said was harsh at all. They are Ultra Cons and if you LIKE that sort of stuff, that is for you. Yes UCs tend to be controlling. Telling you not to have a TV, not to use the Internet (Yes I met someone from this church who was told she can't use the Internet) etc etc.

Nothing harsh there.

I'd definitely attend his church if I lived in that area.
Like I said, if you like Ulta Con, that church is for you!

Re: Fresno, CA churches??

If that's the case don't people attend that do have tv, internet etc? How can you police a large congregation? The woman that was told not to use internet....was she trying to be in some sort of ministry?

I was talking about Morton's church. I dont know if people attend that have TVs but I know folks that go to really strict UCs that constantly preach against having a TV that have one anyways.

No she was not part of a ministry.

Don't listen to him... He may have talked to a bitter person or something.. The church does not teach against the use of the Internet
