Anyone Going to the Feast of Pentecost?
Long time no post, but it's good to be home. The Feast of Pentecost is the Annual Convocation of both the International Church of Jesus Christ (ICJC) and Mercy Tabernacle (formerly the Church of Jesus Christ of Prophecy) All are welcome at this wonderful time of Christian Fellowship. I can assure you you have not seen a genuine move of God quite like this. After 62 years in the Ministry, Bishop and Pastor ”Preacherman” John W. McCann has not lost a drop of the Anointing God has placed upon him. I was Ordained at the Feast in 2007 which was one of the most explosive outpourings of the Holy Ghost I have ever witnessed. From the awesome musical talent to the powerfully Anointed “old time” fiery preaching from ministers and musicians from across the country, you will not leave this Revival the same way you came. Not to mention the Southern Home Cookin’ provided daily(free!)! The Trumpet will sound at 1:30 P.M. sharp on Thursday, Oct 8, signaling the beginning of this mighty move of God. Hope to see some of my AFF friends there!

Re: Anyone Going to the Feast of Pentecost?
I hate to bring it up at this late date, but Pentecost (Shavuot) was celebrated on Wednesday, the 19th of May this year (as is its custom, Shavuot always falls on the 6th of Sivan). So, I am not at all sure what is going to be observed now. Succot? Rosh Chodesh? One of the other feast/fast days?

Don't think I've ever heard of either of those two organizations.
If I did, I don't remember it.

They will apparently be celebrating the "Feast of Shockamoo"

Re: Anyone Going to the Feast of Pentecost?
LOLOL
Well, the date/time given is "The Trumpet will sound at 1:30 P.M. sharp on Thursday, Oct 8, signaling the beginning of this mighty move of God."
The listed date is the 4th day of Chol Hamoed (the sixth day of Succot, 20th of Tishrei) so I am really not sure what is so special that is going to happen at 1:30 PM on that particular day But, then again, there are some serious gaps in my Hebrew education.

Re: Anyone Going to the Feast of Pentecost?
Well, some teach that
Jesus was born on the feast of Tabernacles
died on the feast of Passover
was buried on the Feast of Unleavened Bread
rose again on the feast of First Fruits
poured out His Spirit on the Feast of Pentecost
and will come again on the Feast of Trumpets
so maybe the rapture will happen on October 8, 2009

Re: Anyone Going to the Feast of Pentecost?
HaShaliac, it's not the Jewish Feast of Pentecost, so sorry for not being clear enough. Anyway, remember Adonai ro'i, lo echsar, bin'ot deshei yarbitzeini, almei menuchot yei na'haleini.
Sam, wow. What a way to give a brother in Christ a welcome back to the premier forum of Godly Apostolic Brothers and Sisters. I can sense all the brotherly Love and civility hiding beneath your sarcasm. Anyway, you're still invited to the Feast. Be encouraged.
