Re: Why is the church so polictical?

So not voting is one thing, but having an opinion on how a society should govern itself is something that can’t be separated from the will of God ( at least not for true Christians)
So God never decreed or commanded that there be a separation of church and state. He created the world and the world knew him not. He went into his own and his own received him not. He did not excuse the ignorance of the world, in not knowing him. To prove that he doesn’t excuse this ignorance, we find that all shall be judged according to his word.
The idea of separation of church and state is not biblical but man made. It is an obvious attempt to avoid accountability for wrong doing.
The problem isn’t that Christians should abstain from politics, but rather it’s that politics reject God and in turn reject those who share Godly ideas.
It’s lunacy to ask the people with the best ideas on a subject to refrain from giving their input.

Re: Why is the church so polictical?

Citizens can and should vote and otherwise participate in government.

Churches should not.

Ideally, that participation is nonpartisan in nature.

Just my two cents.

I do not subscribe to political fatalism, but others can, if they wish.
Like all liberals you are too dense for your own good. You apparently missed what I actually said.

I shall not repeat it. The readers may refer to my post, and if they wish they may pay attention to the LAST paragraph. You of course may do as you wish.

The reader may also remember that all talk of voting has been declared completely moot by the shenanigans placed on display for all the world to see in this latest excuse for an "election".
