What we are talking about here is does God rule in the kingdom of men or not? Did he harden Pharaoh"s heart? Did he make a king eat grass. God gave Obama his authority. Is it the church that decides Obama's fate?
Check this out---> An angel respects Satan's position.
Jude 1 King James Version (KJV)
1 Jude, the servant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James, to them that are sanctified by God the Father, and preserved in Jesus Christ, and called:
2 Mercy unto you, and peace, and love, be multiplied.
3 Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.
4 For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.
5 I will therefore put you in remembrance, though ye once knew this, how that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed them that believed not.
6 And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.
7 Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.
8 Likewise also these filthy dreamers defile the flesh, despise dominion, and speak evil of dignities.
9 Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee.
10 But these speak evil of those things which they know not: but what they know naturally, as brute beasts, in those things they corrupt themselves.
11 Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Core.
This country has been killing children legally since 1973. Has the republican's stop it? Could God have soften the hearts of the justices who ruled in favor of roe vs wade?
We can peacefully inform but to call for their removal is flirting with the spirit of Korah imo.
Our only instruction is to pray for them imo.

Re: Oh WAKE UP people!!
I def agree (wow, twice in a row, a new record) but I will say that I am glad for conscientious believers who feel led to participate in worldly government.

Spiirt of Korah? Again, apples and oranges. We removed King George as our leader? Was that the "spirit of Korah"? Is it the "spirit of Korah" then to remove people from office with Constitution means? Why vote them out? After all, God put them there, right? Or is it logical to conclude that God does not hand pick every single leader and that people are justified at times for overthrowing oppressors?
What about ISIS? Is God ordaining them to conquer and kill? You seem to be implying that every strong arm thug that can slaughter his way into power is ordained by God and that resisting them in any way is akin to the "spirit of Korah". Was it wrong then for people to flee the iron curtain to freedom? Was their fleeing an act of rebellion against the authority God set over them?
Who is the "ruler" in this country? We have "separation of powers". Obama is not the ruler here. He simply leads one branch of government. But you seem to think that if he sets himself up as dictator we are in rebellion against God if we resist. Respectfully, there are just too many holes in this line of reasoning for it to make sense.

Well, did the church remove King George? What I'm implying is that the church is not called to overthrow leaders of secular government.
He breaks in pieces mighty men without inquiry, and sets others in their place.
Here he appointed Pharaoh.
Exodus 9: 16 Darby Bible Translation
And for this very cause have I raised thee up, to shew thee my power; and that my name may be declared in all the earth.
Is God not doing a good enough job for you rebels?
Oh my!!

Agreed. But is it wrong for a member of the church to participate? It's certainly something I can disagree about agreeably. I think we have to choose our battles carefully, but I just can't see anything in scripture that would forbid a Christian's participation in a freedom struggle.
But one thing I am fully convinced of, we are passed the point of ever recovering our Constitution and republic without some sort of showdown, whether Christians are involved or not.

Colossians 1 The Supremacy of the Son of God
15 The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. 16 For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him. 17 He is before all things, and in him all things hold together.

Yes something is in the air for sure. The rancher in Nevada with the militia coming to his aid could be a micro-picture of future events.

Wait, are you trying to equate the "spirit of Korah" to civil disobedience or revolt? The spirit of Korah has nothing to do with it and isn't a good analogy. The reason Korah, Dathan and Abiram were swallowed up by the earth was because they were rebelling against God's order for choosing the Priests and High Priests. It was a spiritual issue, not a civil issue.
