I think the church faced more in Roman society. I don't think American society is all that much worse than in biblical times... I think the church isn't operating in as much power.

As for the song... she's a beautiful girl and she's very talented. I wish she'd serve the Lord with that talent. I don't think the song represents homosexuality in the United States. I think it's more representative of our society's facinination with lesbianism, especially among hetersexual males.
