What is, "The Abomination That Brings Desolation" and did President Trump just bumble his way into Biblical prophecy?

There have been two abomination of desolations, can there be a third?

1 Maccabees 1 Antiochus

37 Thus they shed innocent blood on every side of the sanctuary, and defiled it:

38 Insomuch that the inhabitants of Jerusalem fled because of them: whereupon the city was made an habitation of strangers, and became strange to those that were born in her; and her own children left her.

39 Her sanctuary was laid waste like a wilderness, her feasts were turned into mourning, her sabbaths into reproach her honour into contempt.

40 As had been her glory, so was her dishonour increased, and her excellency was turned into mourning.

41 Moreover king Antiochus wrote to his whole kingdom, that all should be one people,

42 And every one should leave his laws: so all the heathen agreed according to the commandment of the king.

43 Yea, many also of the Israelites consented to his religion, and sacrificed unto idols, and profaned the sabbath.

45 And forbid burnt offerings, and sacrifice, and drink offerings, in the temple; and that they should profane the sabbaths and festival days:

46 And pollute the sanctuary and holy people:

47 Set up altars, and groves, and chapels of idols, and sacrifice swine's flesh, and unclean beasts:

48 That they should also leave their children uncircumcised, and make their souls abominable with all manner of uncleanness and profanation:

49 To the end they might forget the law, and change all the ordinances.

Some believe he hasn't "bumbled" his way at all. That he was predestined.

No One Knows The Day and Hour of the second coming.

Matthew 24:36-51“But concerning that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only.
37 For as were the days of Noah, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.
38 For as in those days before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day when Noah entered the ark,
39 and they were unaware until the flood came and swept them all away, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.
40 Then two men will be in the field; one will be taken and one left.
41 Two women will be grinding at the mill; one will be taken and one left.
42 Therefore, stay awake, for you do not know on what day your Lord is coming.
43 But know this, that if the master of the house had known in what part of the night the thief was coming, he would have stayed awake and would not have let his house be broken into.
44 Therefore you also must be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.
45 “Who then is the faithful and wise servant,[c] whom his master has set over his household, to give them their food at the proper time?
46 Blessed is that servant whom his master will find so doing when he comes.

Even if he was predestined, he didn't realize what he was predestined to do-- hence the use of the word "bumbled". By the way, I think our President is doing a bang-up job-- I just don't think that his motivation for this decision was so that he can fulfill a prophecy that some talk about that I cannot find any where in the Holy Writ!

Am I the only one who thinks that the nuking of Jerusalem is "the abomination that brings desolation"?

Or is this line of thinking almost as out of style as dispensationalism...

I think it was a business decision, to buy more votes. And it will probably do just that.

EXACTLY!
However, the political timing of this decision seems desperate-- and he really shouldn't see himself being in a politically desperate position, UNLESS there are truths to be revealed that have not come to light yet regarding the Mueller investigation...
