Not old time Pentecostal. Pastored by former UPC Youth Pastor. Baptizes in Jesus name (over 1500 people in 9 years averaging about 350+ per year the last few years) but not traditional 3 stepper regarding salvation.

It's one of those new churches appealing to those who typically will not darken the door of a traditional church with pews and steeple, etc.

We go through books of the bible chapter by chapter verse by verse with a few exceptions throughout the year. Those exceptions are 3 times a year baptism weekend where a baptism lesson is taught, twice a year vision services going over the mission of the church and the churches finances, and then during the summer a series or two on a subject.

No offering taken during service but during announcments it is pointed out that offering boxes are placed around the walls of the sanctuary on the communion tables.

We take communion at the end of every weekend service.

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.

"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.

"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."
