Re: My WISH for the Holidays.....

IMO Fred Thompson was very much like Ronaldus Maximus and would have been an incredible POTUS. HOwever, Fred said he would not play the debate games or talk in 30 second soundbytes when he first announced his campaign. He was true to his word and paid for it. It's not fair, but you have to jump through the political hoops to make a legit run for the office.

Amen! What a great leader Mr Reagan was! Surely there's more like him out there!

He was one president who could bring tears to my eyes when he spoke. Sad to say there were a lot of people who hated Mr. Reagan. He and President Truman were the kind of me who what you saw was what you got, they were real. They minced no words.

He was a man who inspired people to be there best. I know a few pastors like him. And I know some who should use him as a role model.

In spite of my liberal leanings I do greatly respect the legacy of President Reagan.
