Re: Republican Debate - 11/10/15
JD - is there anything that could happen that would see you vote Republican?
And I give you about 5 years to change your pro-life, pro-gun stance.

I so hope you're right on this!

When a person like Hillary is so wickedly deceptive, it is hard to believe anyone could win against her.

Yes, Marco Rubio who said he has learned they can’t pass comprehensive immigration bills, but rather that they have to prove to the American people that the border is secure and working and that illegal immigration numbers are way down before they will sign off on more immigration reforms.
YET, he is on record voting against every Border enforcement amendment that was offered in the Senate judiciary committee with his Gang of Eight Republican colleagues as well as the Democrats.
He is aligning himself to the right during the election cycle, but if he were to win, he would tack back to the left.

Trump wants to form some kind of force that rounds up illegal immigrants and deports them. He will NEVER win.
Rubio is a commonsense Republican. He can beat Hillary.

Pro-Amnesty is not a winning strategy. He can't win against Hillary on that. His Gang of 8 wanted to legalize the people here BEFORE securing the border.
He will never say what Ted Cruz has said and mean it - to Jorge Ramos - “This is America. We obey the law. People who can’t deal with that don’t belong here.”

Ted Cruz exploits sweet opening against Marco Rubio
To be sure, the swing that Texas Sen. Ted Cruz aimed at Rubio during the debate hardly was a haymaker. In fact, most of the audience probably did not understand that Cruz was taking a jab at Rubio when Cruz said his plan to slash the federal budget included eliminating "corporate welfare, like sugar subsidies."
Cruz continued, "Sugar farmers farm under roughly 0.2 percent of the farmland in America, and yet they give 40 percent of the lobbying money." And, Cruz said, "That sort of corporate welfare is why we're bankrupting our kids, and grandkids. I would end those subsidies to pay for defending this nation."
He did not mention Rubio by name. Rest assured, though, that plugged-in conservative Republicans — the kind most likely to vote in primaries — knew exactly who Cruz was bashing.

The immigration system Marco Rubio wanted
This year, Rubio refused to answer the question of whether he would sign the Gang of Eight bill if he were president.

It's either common sense or the Democrats.
You choose.
