Aside from Chicken Alfredo Pizza, I don't really care for Italian food. However, I did run across a couple of recipes I would like to try. My husband likes spaghetti every other month.

I would probably use a 50/50 mix of turkey and beef in this recipe. Ingredients look good:

Baked Turkey Meatballs with Spinach

Ingredients

2 tablespoons olive oil
1 large onion, finely chopped
2 garlic cloves, finely minced
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/4 teaspoon dried thyme leaves
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1/4 - 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional - adjust to your preference)
16 oz frozen chopped spinach (defrosted, drained, and squeezed to remove excess water)
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1/3 cup chicken broth
2 1/2 lbs lean ground turkey
3/4 cup bread crumbs
2 large eggs

Meatball Nirvana

1 pound extra lean ground beef
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
1 small onion, diced
1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
1 1/2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
3/4 teaspoon dried oregano
3/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
1 dash hot pepper sauce (such as Frank's RedHot®), or to taste
1 1/2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1/3 cup skim milk
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 cup seasoned bread crumbs

Bwahahaha!

When one of our boys was little, he could make the "s" sound. It came out "f" instead. So we never talked about suckers. Only lolipops.
