FBI Director, James Comey - FIRED!
Well, this should be interesting.
"President Trump acted based on the clear recommendation of Deputy AG Rod Rosenstein and AG Sessions," and has notified Director Comey he has been fired.
DAG Rosenstein previously criticized Comey for his July presser about not charging Hillary Clinton. Rosenstein wrote a memorandum today.
"It is not the function of the Director to make such an announcement .. The Director laid out his version of the facts for the news media as if it were a closing argument, but without a trial. It is a textbook example of what federal prosecutors and agents are taught not to do."

Already, the libs and Democrats are breathlessly exclaiming - "NIXONIAN!" "Comey was ready to charge Trump, so Trump had him fired!" "Now Trump will appoint some stooge who will dismiss the investigation!"
Just a week ago, these same libs and Democrats were whining and angry, blaming Comey for costing Hillary the election.

Tell you what ... I can't believe Trump has achieved all he has.
Middle paragraph of termination notice:
"While I greatly appreciate you informing me, on three separate occasions, that I am not under investigation. I nevertheless concur with the judgment of the Department of Justice that you are not able to effectively lead the Bureau."
So dumb. D. U. M. B. Dumb.

What Trump should do, but won't, is tell the DOJ to appoint a special prosecutor to investigate the Russia claims and put it to rest.

Bizarre is an understatement. Then again, it's Trump.
I hope Amash succeeds in getting an independent commission established. This is ridiculous.

The Rosenstein memo is dated...today. So there was no real recommendation from DOJ. Trump wanted to do it, and they created a paper trail.
