The reason why it's served raw is because of the Marianites (I baptized a Lebanese Marianite last year) they would hide up in the mountains and could not light fires. If they lit fires to cook their food the Muslim would of found their position.
I like it raw. it's more faithful to the original.

I love baby octopus, but the older larger octopus is better to be used for sushi.

The leopard frog is the most popular to be used for the frog leg dish. The north American Bull Frog when they are huge are very good eating.
