Congregational Songs From the Past

I posted "All in Him" yesterday and was going to add a new song today. Instead of making multiple threads, I will just make this one thread and add to it. If you have an old congregational song you remember from bygone years, add it.

All In Him

Verse 1
The Mighty God is Jesus, the Prince of Peace is He.
The Everlasting Father, The King eternally,
The Wonderful in wisdom, By whom all things were made,
The fullness of the Godhead in Jesus is displayed.

Chorus
It's all in Him, It's all in Him,
The fullness of the godhead,
It's all in Him.
It's all in Him, It's all in Him,
The mighty God is Jesus
And it's all in Him!

Verse 2
Emmanuel, God with us, Jehovah, Lord of Hosts!
The Omnipresent Spirit Who fills the universe.
The Advocate, The High Priest, The Lamb for sinners slain,
The Author of redemption, O glory to His name!

Verse 3
The Alpha and Omega, Beginning and the end,
The Living Word incarnate, The helpless sinners friend,
Our wisdom and perfection, Our righteousness and power
Yea, all we need in Jesus, We find this very hour.

Verse 4
Our God for whom we've waited Will be our glad refrain,
Of Israel recreated when Jesus comes again.
Lo, He will come and save us, Our King and Priest to be,
For in Him dwells all fullness, and Lord of All is He.

Re: Congregational Songs From the Past

He Brought Me Out

1. My heart was distressed ’neath Jehovah’s dread frown,
And low in the pit where my sins dragged me down;
I cried to the Lord from the deep miry clay,
Who tenderly brought me out to golden day.

Chorus:
He brought me out of the miry clay,
He set my feet on the Rock to stay;
He puts a song in my soul today,
A song of praise, hallelujah!

2. He placed me upon the strong Rock by His side,
My steps were established and here I’ll abide;
No danger of falling while here I remain,
But stand by His grace until the crown I gain.

3. He gave me a song, ’twas a new song of praise;
By day and by night its sweet notes I will raise;
My heart’s overflowing, I’m happy and free;
I’ll praise my Redeemer, Who has rescued me.

4. I’ll sing of His wonderful mercy to me,
I’ll praise Him till all men His goodness shall see;
I’ll sing of salvation at home and abroad,
Till many shall hear the truth and trust in God.

5. I’ll tell of the pit, with its gloom and despair,
I’ll praise the dear Father, who answered my prayer;
I’ll sing my new song, the glad story of love,
Then join in the chorus with the saints above.

Re: Congregational Songs From the Past

Real, real
Jesus is real to me.
Oh yes.
He gave me the victory.
So many people doubt Him.
I can't live without Him.
That is why I love Him so.
He's so real to me.

Walk in the Light.
Beautiful Light.
Come where the dew drops of mercy shine bright.
Shine all around us by day and by night.
Jesus is the Light of the world.

Lord the light of Your love is shining
In the midst of the darkness shining
Jesus, Light of the world shine upon us
Set us free by the truth You now bring us
Shine on me
Shine on me

Shine Jesus shine
Fill this land
With the Father's Glory
Blaze, Spirit blaze
Set our hearts on fire
Flow, River flow
Flood the nations with Grace and Mercy
Send forth Your Word and let there be light

Lord I come to Your awesome Presence
From the shadows into Your radiance
By the blood I may enter Your brightness
Search me try me consume all my darkness
Shine on me Shine on me
