3 Things

1. Just got back from Bohol. Awesome weekend. Safe trip. Nice weather. And our team won 'Best Overall Exhibit." Lots of sleepless nights for that event but it was all worth it.

2. My friend posted this update regarding Marlon on March 21 at 7:46pm PH Time:

I witnessed a miracle today. My husband got the Holy Spirit and was baptized in Jesus' name. He has a tube through his nose, throat and stomach and he is so weak he catches his breath with every little movement, but still he was able to speak in tongues without gagging on the tube!
Thank you for all who prayed. And thanks to my family who prayed Mayon through until he reached God and helped us fill out an indoor pool with water so he can get baptized.

3. She posted another update on her FB page 10 hours ago:

My husband Mayon Erivera Velarde went home to the arms of the Lord Jesus this morning. He died in his sleep.
To all our friends and family who are in or near Manila, you may say goodbye at Saint Claire Funeral Homes along C. Raymundo Avenue in Pasig City. He will be taken to Sorsogon City, his hometown, by tomorrow so today is the only day you can see him here.
Thanks to ALL who fought with us... At least now I can truly say he is at peace.

Re: 3 Things

Tears falling, can hardly see my keyboard to type. I am sorry for the loss of Marlon. Thank you so much for sharing his journey and this testimony with us. It's an encouragement to us all to (1) never give up on someone and (2) the power of prayer. God is good......

Re: 3 Things

It is hard to say goodby even when we know the person we have loved is now with Him and in a better place.

Only time and our knowledge of God and Son can heal grief to the point where we can cope with the pain

You and your friend are lucky to have each other

What a powerful testimony Mark! Will continue to pray for the family in their loss. I'm glad the Lord blessed you during your trip as well. He is faithful to meet us in all our needs.
