many of you may not even know who he because you don't keep up with the Gospel music world, but this Man is HUGE! he's one of the Biggest ICONS in Gospel music today.
He has a show on BET that is VERY Popular
has 2 of the largest conferences in the industry
He is also the USA Ambassar to ...i think jamacia or the Bahamas.
It's going to be interesting to see what all the artist do now. Are they still going to pander to him to get on his show?

you know what really gets my goat?
The sinful aspect aside for a minute...
but a common sense question
since when is someone's personal preference, "Sexually"....a RIGHT? Why are there "Movements" and all this hype b/c a person is "homosexual"????
Yes, it's sin, so is murder and theft.
Why is homosexuality a "movement"??? Since when is some perversion a RIGHT????
it totally blows my mind that modern day society takes someone SEXUAL preferences as some sort of special affiliation that gives someone special privledges or something....
Where are the rights for women who like tall, dark and handsome?? Where are our rights??? I demand equal billing

I think what it is theresa, there is a group that has an agenda to normalize it. this group is seeking to change it in the black church.
If they call it is rights movement, many will be able to relate to it

A friend of mine used to sing with him...I've met him and all...
He's...ummmm...a different sort I guess you could say.
He is not that great a singer, but he draws the gospel music crowd.
I guess one could say that BJ's forte has been that he has a good ear for talent...

No one crosses him because he gives people exposure and has the program to help others get their songs out. Equated....Bobby Jones' Gospel Hour is the equivalent of Dick Clark's American Bandstand...just without the hoochie dancing.
