What about all the other people going else where? Well, they've got itching ears and they want to buy a lie. Our job is to stay faithful to this Gospel Message!

I think we are closer than other groups on the Godhead. Not perfectly there. Acts 2:38 is there. On the rest Apostolics do NOT have it all figured out.
There is no question whatsoever that God could give everyone the revelation of who He is and regarding Ac. 2:38. So, why hasn't He? Are people rejecting it? Are those filled with His spirit so cold hearted as to not hear His voice or see His revelation? (trinitarians)
Are we so arrogant as to think that WE are THE guardians of the "holy grail" of truth etc?

Speaking of truth, how does one know when when has it? Does it make sense? Does one hear a voice inside? Does it give goosebumps and tingles down the spine? Does it line up with reality?

i think people who try to act like the corner the market on truth, and can compartmentalize it and box it , are arrogant, god is to big for that, his word is truth, his word is our guide and living and powerful, that is my truth, dt

Baptist take that stand on Eternal Salvation
Apostolics on the Oneness message
Calvinists on predestination
Catholics on everything....
I think because the bible speaks so much on the subject of "Truth" and in the western mind "Truth" excludes everything but itself, it is difficult to not view ones on understanding as
A. Truth
B. the only correct interpretation.
Jesus speaks on the single door, and anyone entering by any other method is a theif and a robber.
the problem lies in what us humans decide that door is.
For me, I simply have to believe that what God has given me is the only "truth" I have and is the only thing I am willing to accept.
That doesnt mean I believe I understand Gods ways. All I can do is provide what I have and leave the rest up to him.
that leaves me in an odd posisition. I am both exclusionary (I have a corner on what Truth He has given me I suppose)
but at the same time, not exclusionary in that while I would never tell someone they are just fine in their belief, it is Gods job to judge them, not mine.

I suppose that some in his day would have considered him to be arrogant to consider that he and those whom he fellowshipped with were only of God and everyone else was lost.

What is the only book of the bible that contains the verbatim (word-for-word) preaching of the apostles to the lost telling them how to be saved and the lost obeying and getting saved? The book of Acts.
The simple fact of the matter is that those who are of God and are saved in obedience to God's truth, and live a life of loving obedience to his word, know that they are of God and are in truth. Anyone else that teaches something contrary to truth, is in error.

The corner on truth? Sorry, don't buy it. I ran into some baptists the other night, and they claim to have the corner on truth, even to the point of refusing to even hear what anyone else had to say. They did not have the corner on truth.
Look, all I have is the Bible, two knees, and a heart to serve Him. As I grow, He shows me things in His Word. The truth is there, and I am learning, but no way am I arrogant, egotistical, or narcissistic enough to say I have a corner on truth.
