Ministry of the Spoon
by Jayson Pagan.
The Priest digs his bare hand into the golden bowl of grainy incense. Closing his fingers tightly, the grit remains trapped in his fist. He pulls his hand away from that beautiful golden bowl and carelessly bumps against the rim of the bowl, moving it slightly from its place on the table of showbread. Several small, unnoticed holy grains light from his hand onto the blue table cloth placed perfectly over the table.

Wonderful piece of writing!
Quote:
They were willing to sacrifice, first in prayer, then whatever came from their prayer.
We can never forget that true holiness, separation, and purity come only from committed, relentless, unceasing, shaking, intercessory prayer. We cannot walk before men without walking before God and expect to transfer the Almighty’s thoughts. If we are not willing as men of God to fall on our faces, beat the ground with our fists, weep before the altar, separate ourselves unto Him until a moment is birthed where we are transformed, changed, twisted inside, and moved in the deepest way possible, how can we even dare to approach God’s children with a message ‘from the throne’. Hearing from God has gone from taking hours in prayer and supplication to the result of human reasoning. The last generation was a generation concerned with the mind of God, sickening enough, many of the present generation is concerned more with the mind of men. If we want to transfer God’s chosen savor to our families, our churches, and our world, it will only come from the closet where we really hear the voice of Jesus Christ.
My generation is becoming prayer-less and wordless. And we wonder why purity, separation, and true anointing is lacking in so many churches around the world?

Exactly.

I've never heard the names Pagan or Harrelson. I don't know who these men are. I don't know what kind of ministry they have. I don't know where they pastor. I don't know their ages and it doesn't matter really.
But they are putting their finger on the pulse of a movement and coming up with a pretty good spiritual assessment and diagnosis in my opinion.
They're also wonderful writers and I pray that as they continue to yield to the leading of God, stay humble and "hearing", and allow His anointing to rest on and flow through them that they'll be blessed and become increasingly useful vessels to minister to others not only through the spoken word but the written as well.
I thank God for what I read.

After four attempts I finally made it and can only concur that the writing is inspiring...I shall visit this blog again.
This jumped out at me...
If I am not first separated unto Him, I will not be separated by Him...
