I don't have any details yet but Elder Kilgore had some kind of accident and is now in ICU. I understand that the Drs are offering little hope that he will survive.

On Sunday, Dad decided to go to Pappas Seafood for his favorite, Lobster Bisque. He fell in the parking lot and sustained a serious head injury. Dad was first taken to Clear Lake Regional Hospital. He was lucid upon arrival, but quickly took a turn for the worse and was life-flighted for emergency brain surgery. Since the surgery, he has been asleep. He is not in a coma, but a deep sleep due to the trauma to his brain. We are with him constantly , but try not to overstimulate him. Please continue to pray for him to not suffer and for our wisdom. He is precious!
Thank you. Our love, the Kilgore family
Update today:
Update from the family of Bishop James Kilgore:
Dearest Friends,
I must tell you honestly, our Daddy is not improving. We do not know what the next few days hold , but we know who holds our Daddy. And though it seems impossible, He loves him more than we do.
Thank you for your overwhelming expressions of love for us and Daddy!
Jan, Jean and Jim.

God bless Bro. Kilgore, one of my favorite childhood preachers at youth camp and campmeeting.

I was so sad to hear about this. Bro. Kilgore is an incredible man. He spoke at my high school graduation. One of my favorite messages at BOTT was his message about the little "E" ("Me").
James Kilgore was one of my favorite UPC pastors / leaders growing up. The man has a sterling reputation of integrity and honest heartedness.

Titus2woman on AFF
"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.
"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.
"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."
