Rev Carlton Clark Has Passed Away
Pray for the family of Rev Carlton Clark, UPC Evangelist. He passed away unexpectedly today. He traveled around as an Evangelist, mostly through Arizona, Indiana and, I believe, Wisconsin. Good man of God. Sad to hear he's gone.

Yes, he spent several months in WI a few years back, maybe about seven. He preached at the UPCI affiliated church we used to attend a couple of different times. Saw him at family camp that same year, and heard he had been up and down the Dairy State.
Not sure if he revisited and travelled through WI after that, though. Might have only been the one time. I do remember it being said his native or home state was Arizona.

Re: Rev Carlton Clark Has Passed Away
Did not know the man but hate to hear this. Thoughts and prayers are with his family. Was he a young or older man? How did he die? Natural causes, accident, etc?

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.
"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.
"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."

Re: Rev Carlton Clark Has Passed Away
He was in his early 60s, I believe. He died of congestive heart failure. Found dead in his apartment. No wife/children, but had siblings.
