Majority of Americans now believe you can't change being gay!!!

Gay man, former lesbian on whether they can change

By Taylor Gandossy
CNN

(CNN) -- After five years of trying to date girls and to conform and conceal his sexuality, 18-year-old Steven Field told his friends and family that he was gay.

Steven Field, now 25, came out to his friends and family when he was 18.

"I wasn't being honest to myself," Field, now 25, said of his closeted high school years in the suburbs of Chicago, Illinois.

Being gay was natural for him, Field, who lives in Washington, said in a Thursday phone interview. "I didn't choose to be gay anymore than straight people choose to be straight."

Field says you don't choose who you love....

I disagree. Love is not strictly an emotion. Ones intellect and choosing is very much a part of the decision.

Love is not a feeling, it's an act of your will.

Otherwise we would not be told to lay up our treasures in heavenly places, for where our treasure is there will our hearts be also.

As with much of the English language we must define our terms.....What do we mean by the word "love"?

Shows the power of the leftist media to brainwash a foundationless society! History shows pervasive homosexuality to be the final stages of a culture. All established institutions eventually fail due to the self absorption.
When men and women so seek after their own lusts no matter what nature, tradition or the scriptures teach, that culture is not far from destruction.

they didn't poll me...you have to wonder if there would be different results if someone else was doing the polling.

Also, the liberal medial does not want people to believe gays can change, so they hide stories about those that have changed but hype stories of those that tried and later on fell. That does not show me gays can't change. It shows me humans will always be humans..if a former thief, after years of not thieving, backslides and steals something, do we say thieves were born that way and can't change?

Apostolic is defined on AFF as:

  1. There is One God. This one God reveals Himself distinctly as Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
  2. The Son is God himself in a human form or "God manifested in the flesh" (1Tim 3:16)
  3. Every sinner must repent of their sins.
  4. That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
  5. That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.
  6. The saint will go on to strive to live a holy life, pleasing to God.

The TRUE power

Quote:
According to a CNN/Opinion Research Corp. poll released Wednesday, 56 percent of Americans believe that gays and lesbians could not change their sexual orientation even if they wanted to do so -- the first time that a majority has held that belief regarding homosexuality since CNN first posed the question nearly 10 years ago.
Here is the true power of television.

Next they'll convince us Santa Claus doesn't really exist!

And notice something subtle: They don't cite research data, they cite public opinion. It's a dangerous trend in our society that we are encouraging debate in important public matters to devolve into popularity contests and uninformed mob rule.

Even Chan provided some data in the course of a previous debate here on the topic: A figure of 4% of homosexuals who try to change to heterosexual succeed, but almost all of them are involved in homosexual conversion ministry.

This is a CNN poll. Problem is, who did they poll? They probably did not poll all throughout the nation a random sampling. They polled those who would probably be more biased to the gay agenda.

You can change being gay. If you claim you were born gay, then you need to get born again. But, no one is born gay. This is a bald faced lie used to influence people to accept this sinful and abominable lifestyle. CNN is nothing more than a puppet of the leftist political structure, and needs to be ignored.
