Thank you all for praying.
I just got home from the emergency room. The kids were being far too rough in a place they don't belong and my oldest son jumped and landed on my daughter. They both heard her back snap, and she then lost all feeling and mobility in her legs. An ambulance ride and a whole lot of x-rays later, she's home again too. The Dr says there was definitely some spinal cord involvement, but nothing's fractured and she should be back to normal by Friday at the latest. For now she has no numbness or shocky feeling up and down her legs like she was having.
I am now going to make brownies. And whatever other comfort junk food I can find in my house. And try not to throw up...I'm feeling soooo nauseous still (my typical stress response).

Wow. I'm still praying. It's a miracle she didn't have any further injuries.
