Everyone please pray for my six year old nephew. He fell with a butter knife in his hand and it went through his eye socket and into his brain. He had brain and eye surgery yesterday. He is out of PICU but will be hospitalized for a while. God is performing miracle after miracle on this baby. Please pray that he continues to heal properly and that the swelling goes down and the seizures stay away.

I would also like for you all the pray for my parents. My parents were in an accident last Sunday night. God spared their life and they weren't hurt. My dad pastors a church and it seems the devil is mad and fighting him in any area he can. What better way than through a grandchild?

Thank you so much for praying!

I will certainly be praying for this little boy and his family. What a horrible accident.

It was werid seeing this prayer request just a short time after reading a news report online of a 5 year old boy who had a similar accident with a deer antler. It poked through his eye socket and into his brain. He miraculously is ok.

Jehoveh Jireh, I rebuke the force of satan trying to destroy this family. I ask your peace and that you stay the hand of the enemy on behalf of this family. Please put a hedge around them to give them time to recoup. In Jesus name I pray.

His eye is good also. He can see and he doesn't have any visible damage (just stitches). It's almost unbelievable. It truly is a miracle.

Thank you!

It's so sad. He (my nephew) asked his mom why he had to take medicine now. She gave him a nonchalant answer. Then he proceeded to tell her that he knew he might die if he didn't take it. It's sad to me that he now thinks about death.

Oh, I know, it is horrible when kids have to go through things like this, they just aren't equipped to understand why.

A little girl (3 years old) in our church had to have open heart surgery last week, she was born with a serious heart defect and had to have several major surgeries the first few months of her life.

She was doing fine, (fantastic actually) but this was something that had to be done, she will have to have a valve replaced every few years until she is an adult.

Anyhow, my point is, she was fine and happy, not sick at all, and then the next day she has open heart surgery! She is a pretty spunky little girl, and the first few days that she was conscious, she would not smile at her parents at all! She was furious! You can't really explain it to them when they are small like that.

This is so sad. The neurologist told my sister that she would need to take her son to a psychiatrist to help him get through everything. I can understand why that might be a good idea under the circumstances. Kids can't understand like adults. I hope the little girl recovers well.

Thank you all for praying!

He is doing much better. The doctors have said that he cannot go back to school the rest of this school year but a teacher is going to come to his house three hours a week and help him to keep him from failing. Praise God!

He has finally opened the eye that got hit and he really can see. Praise God for that!

I don't know how we are going to keep an energetic little boy off of a bike, skateboard, running, etc for a year. I can't even imagine. My sister may need more prayer than my nephew eventually. lol

Again, thank you all for praying. God is and has been answering your prayers.
