sorrow,

The uneasiness or pain of mind which is produced by the loss of any good, real or supposed, or by disappointment in the expectation of good;

what the Lord felt when Adam and Eve hid themselves,

what the Lord felt when Saul disobeyed,

when Judas betrayed,

when Peter denied,

when those he loves avoid his gaze and ignore his voice.

I believe we get to share in this sorrow, when people we love, we care for and would do anything to help begin to struggle spirtually and one of the symptoms is they avoid, ignore and even attack you.

It is not about you, it is your opportunity to fellowship in the sorrow of a soul losing it's relationship with it's creator, savior and only hope.

The Fellowship of Sorrow.

I have experienced a number of times in life and am getting a fresh taste from a person that I have had the joy of working with... that feeling when you feel and see them about to go to the next level... and they begin to slip beyond your grasp and refuse your influence.

sorrow.

A bitter drink that does us good sometimes to remember the Love of our Saviour.

Interesting thoughts.

Sorrow leaves you open emotionally in other ways like anger, and then you run a great risk of becoming bitter.

Very good thoughts Papabear.
While this applies to everyone, it sure can apply to those in leadership.
