I just received an email from Jolia Kwong, wife of Joshua Kwong, who is pastor of the work in Yuen Long my wife and I planted in the 80's. He has been taken to the hospital with heart related problems and apparently the doctors are saying there is danger of a stroke. Please join with us in praying for this wonderful man of God!

Dear Lord, Jehoveh Rophe...you see Bro. Joshua Kwong...he is needed in the harvest...please restore his health, and lead him to minister to my friend ALLIE's parents there in Hong Kong. Allie was baptized in your name and wants the Holy Ghost, please send she and her family a divine appointment there in Hong Kong.
In Jesus name, Amen

Thank you each one who are praying for Bro. Joshua. He and his wife have been exemplary in faithfulness, commitment and sacrificial giving, living and ministry in Hong Kong.
They worked with us for several years travelling from HK to Yuen Long by bus Sunday after Sunday ..... and for midweek services and other services as well which was more than an hour each way and would never accept one dime for it.
They're UPCI licensed. Came to work with us "temporarily" from another Oneness work in HK as interpreters in 1981. They became "permanent" :) and were determined to stay with us even though we told them they were not bound to do so, and eventually were licensed with the UPCI. After we left HK became pastors of the work we started there and remain so.
Wonderful people! We had a wonderful relationship and do to this day.

Good news! I just received an email from Jolia Kwong informing me that Joshua has been returned home from the hospital and seems to be doing much better. Further tests will be carried out. I am believing God that those tests will show that there has been complete healing!

I have learned that what the doctors have initially diagnosed is called hemiplegia, which can be brought on by a stroke. There is a weakening of the muscles on the left side of the body. Let's keep in prayer for this fine man of God!
