Sis. T,

As a chaplain at the women's jail, I held a support group for abused women. You will find a lot of confusion, hurt ]emotionally, spiritually, and physically], and so many just needing love.

Healing the wounded should be your focus as well as the unconditional love of Jesus Christ. Mercy, grace, forgiveness, and restoration. That is what they need.

Blessings, Rhoni

Bring the Gospel to them and let the Lord bring the healing. Love the devil out of them. Bring the message of God's mercy and grace. Give them examples of great women in the bible. Rahab is an awesome story to use. She went from harlot to being in the bloodline and linage of Jesus.

Thanks for the support.I just wanted to share that eighteen women received the Holy Ghost in our service tonight. It was awesome. We just went in and I plugged up my keyboard and we had church. It was hard to get out of there. We were so excited. Our team consisted of six women who are seasoned jail ministry workers. We prayed until the last minute. When I walked out the door they were still singing Lord prepare me to be a sanctuary. It was way fun.

I dont know very much about the ministry when it comes to jails, but I have a daughter that went to jail for the first time in her life, and she was scared with out her children and her family. She cried all the time and felt so alone. So maybe you can let them know they are not alone. They live, breathe, and have thier being through God and knows where thay are at,and loves them.
