My refrigerator is making a loud noise...hope it is not going out. My office phone went out today. I think we must have electric problems or maybe those powerful surges. We don´t have hot water except for the electrical shower heads and today it was all blue like …We must have something wrong in our electrical lines…
I am not scared of a lot of things but I am horrified around anything that I have to try to hook up to electric.
Well, if you believe in praying for this carnal request please pray that my refrigerator will not go out...thanks

Just saw this. Let me tell you, our God knows and He sees the things

we have need of. I definitely know that HE can take care of applicances

for I have personally seen Him intervene in such circumstances.

I pray right now that God would intervene on behalf of your refrigerator

and heal whatever is causing this loud noise, in Jesus Name. Our God cares

and if we but trust Him, He will take care of our needs and He WILL SEE us

through!!

it is still making noise and not freezing...My daughter in law called the "doctor" hope he can get it working...with all our prayers maybe I can still have my ice for my drinks...I love ice...Yeah, I am a carnal missionary...
It is probably 100 degrees outside today. I went out to pick some lemons but cme back in...that sun is baking hot.

Well, poor thing died today...and they say it will cost more to get it fixed than it is worth...
I just started singing, "Hallelujah anyhow I will never let my troubles get me down..though I may loose most everything I will hold my head up high and sing Hallelujah anyhow...." (remember that song?)

I could understand how you wouldnt want it to die. Mine did not too long ago and it took me $800 to replace it. Took a big bite out of my paycheck. OUCH

I went and looked at prices...they are so expensive here and I am not going to put one on a credit card so my daughter (lives behind me) said I could keep things over at her house until I get the money together and buy one. The cheapest one (very small) I found was over 1000 dollars. My daughter's inlaws are here from the states and they could not believe the price of electronics here...they took pictures of the proces to show their friends...

Mother always bought eletronics for me all the years on the field except for a few times...I miss her so much. She prayed everyday for us and the work here.
I am glad that when she did make her move she left from Brazil...it will be a great day when we meet again.

thank you...one will come along in God's time...my daughter has a good one and her house is just right behind my house and I have a tiny one( drinks only kind) in my office. So I am blessed...millions have nothing and believe me in many areas we have people that are very poor...Brother Scott I am richly blessed...so blessed...
My daughter in law came a little while ago and wanted to know if I wanted hers...
I think we have an electrical problem at my house that causes things not to work properly. My son is trying to find someone to check out our wiring. We have had several electrical things to go out lately.

I really just feel called to post ups and downs of missionary life since some have no ideal what missionaries go through or how they live.
We are not UPCI so we do not have the benefits of many good programs they have for missionaries but this was our chosing many years ago. It makes things harder for us but the work belongs to Brazil. We felt this was God's plan for our lives.
