We had to cancel our 9am service but had the 11am service on schedule. When I got up this morning @6am, my driveway was clear of any snow and was only wet from the snow turned to rain. By the time I left for church @6:45am the driveway and roads were covered with snow. We had maybe 50 people or so brave the NASTY weather and had a great time at church! :D

Our kids did their annual Christmas play this morning. We should have cancelled services. Everyone else around us did!! But because of the play, we didn't. There was only about 20 people in the audience.
Did you watch the Cleveland Browns play in the snow today? What a hoot!!!

We had our childrens program this morning which wasnt real big but it was adorable... however we had one girl in it who I am sure absolutely WISHED we were iced in! I dont think a single parent will want the videos until editing either. They had the cameras panning the choir and what happens? She looses her breakfast right on the girl beside her!!!! with the camera right on her face! All 1000+ held it together very well but oh it was hard... She would have gladly been one of those who was frozen in today rather than being there!

Ours wasnt anything major this year. We did 4 songs... the first one I have to say was adorable! We had 2, 5 yr old girls doing the solo on happy birthday Jesus! It was so cute... then they did a few others but that one was just too cute! And they sang very very well too!
Our adults didnt do one really this year... they did a few songs then it turned into shockamoo during the offering song and they were done! LOL
I think they just probably really didnt want to focus on that this year as they have soooooooo much going on trying to get the first phase of our new building done by the 1st. If we had a big program we wouldnt have no where to put them! Our church only seats 800 and its already folding chair seating anywho...

There are....a total of 8 kids in our church (plus one teen). 4 of those kids are mine. I'm in finals week. I don't know if we're not having anything because my pastor's opposed to it, or because he took pity on me. (probably has more to do with having no building for awhile and only just now getting settled into a new rented building..but I can pretend it was pity!)

We had if I counted right 118 kids crammed into the choir loft... and another 100 or so in the nursery or ss rooms that didnt go on the platform... Our youth were so glad they didnt have to do one this year. Oh and I do have to brag on them... when the little girl got sick. And one of our ministers walked her off the platform... instead of the youth laughing or anything... they gave her a standing ovation! Everyone of them went to her after church and told her she did a good job anyways! They ROCK! Our youth are so awesome...
Oh then another funny to add in there.. there was a group of visitors.. about 9 of them.. came in saw 5 empty pews and sat down.. the youth were not in there yet as they didnt know they were staying in adult class... so then as they come in the youth start to sit around these people... and then more youth come... see our youth have 5 pews for about 200 kids! So they crammmmmmmmmm tight! LOL These people I guess finally realized they were in the wrong place or didnt want to be sardines so they got up! It was funny tho... the one ladies outfit looked like a new ironing job would do it well! ROFL

No snow here. Just rain. Typical for this area.
My husband spoke at a church here in the area this morning. I was personally ministered to by the pastor of this fairly new work who has a real gifting in the word of knowledge. After service we went out for dinner together.
We got home and opened the envelope that was given to us and there was a cheque for $1,000.00!
It's always so amazing to me how God provides and it's often through those you would least expect. My God is so good to me! And He's full of surprises! ;) :)

Actually I love reading your posts; you are one of the funniest people on here. You and CC1 keep it lively!
You do need to grow some facial hair though - to balance it all out.:jolly
