For CC1 and any and all other doubters.....................Today in Savannah at our Video Campus, they showed the video from last week in Jackson, when Eddie preached on the Holy Ghost. At the end, there was an altar call and five adults got the Holy Ghost at the new church campus!!! The video idea DOES WORK! It's a new concept in church growth, but it's definitely worth looking into if you want to expand, but don't really have enough preaching staff.

Who would have thought, video feeds can be used to usher in the anointing. I am a believer.

We've been doing the viral video church thing for months... we have 20 times more people watching our services on video each week than attending...

All of our other churches have full staff and their own preachers/pastors. This new one in Savannah, TN is a video venue. We have a campus pastor who is in charge of all pastoral care and administration. He does all announcements, offerings, etc. They have their own band and worship leader. But the sermon comes on by video. It's Eddie preaching in the Jackson church the week before. We don't do it live, because we don't want to interrupt the move of God in either place to have a set "time" for the video. At the end of the video, the campus pastor does an altar call, or whatever he feels. We have had amazing moves of God there.
Most churches who have video venues for their satellite works are actually from a live feed, but for a Spirit-filled church, this seems to be the best way. We have been doing a video venue in our own church building in Jackson for about a year now in the other end of the building. They also have their own band (more guitar-edgy than the main sanctuary), and their own pastor who leads that service. It has worked so well, and has kept us from having to build immediately. So we decided to try it in other towns.
It's a great way to use young ministers who want to help start churches, but don't feel confident enough to preach/teach several times a week.

Doesn't matter if it is five or five hundred. Your husband has facial hair so it doesn't count.
It is not the "old paths" and we know nothing new can ever be done. It must be just like grampa and grandma did it.

LOL! I wonder what the Video Venue Pastor looks like? Probably a bearded ATM/Powerpoint machine. Sounds like the Beast.

Check out the staff page of the Jackson church. Jackson's associate pastor is the campus pastor at Savannah. Sorry to disappoint ya - no facial hair. :christmasjig

Were you there yesterday? Did you know that the girl with Anna got the Holy Ghost after everyone left? She had asked Pastor P. a bunch of questions after the altar service, and he actually was gone when she was praying with a few still there and got the Holy Ghost. She is from the Jackson church.

Do the people touch the video screen and you impart healing to them like that? lol

Our church has been doing this for sometime as well, I believe we are ging to be in a few more churches too. Right now we send a feed to a church in NB, PEI, and soon to Nova Scotia.

Yes we were there and no I didn't know about the girl with Anna. I wondered who the fifth one was because I knew the four that were praying at the front originally. I was surprised that Gary S's dad had never been filled with the Holy Ghost before. Didn't he and his wife go the UPC church in River Heights before she died?

Yes, but if you remember, when we went to A'ville, we had several older saints in the church who had been there for 30-40 years who had never received the Holy Ghost! It's not that uncommon.

Oh I know. It just always makes me do a double take that they sit in the Pentecostal environment for that long and never experience it for themselves. It didn't take me long to want it all!!
