Please mention our family in your prayers...my father-in-law passed away Monday morning during surgery (Christmas Eve). We would have been celebrating his 60th birthday on Friday...instead, we are having his funeral.
Although I realize this is a home-going time for him, it is so difficult to see the pain of missing him in the eyes of my husband and mother-in-law.
I'm simply asking that you pray for our strength during this time of loss and transition.
Thank you, AFF, for being there for people like me in times of need! :)

It touched my heart so much to see this post from Bro Price. If anyone understands how you are feeling right now, it is him. This same experience has been his so recently :(
I want you to know that all of you are in my prayers right now.

Praying for y'all. My husband is on his way to his cousin's funeral right now. He did die unsaved so it is a sorrowful time. But we rejoice with those that are with Jesus now.

What a profound statement, and SO true. His grace IS sufficient!
May God bring great peace and comfort to your family, especially to
your husband and his mother.
And may the God of ALL comfort bring peace and comfort to ALL those
who have lost dear loved ones this year. Lost my first sibling in Sept.
but God has given peace and comfort sufficient for the need!
Indeed His Grace IS and WILL be sufficient for your needs also, in Jesus
Name!!
Blessings,

Sorry to hear this and at such a young age! I'll be in prayer with the other Forum members that our Father's amazing strength will be yours in the days to come.

Many, many thanks to all of you who have been praying...we can definitely feel it!
We finalized the funeral arrangements today, which was tough, but God gave us a peace through it all.
You all are very precious....and I'm looking forward to that glorious day we can finally meet face to face so I can thank you in person! :hanky
