I have been battling a lot of different things. So, I am going to ask for prayer. It seems as though when it rains, it pours.

My 4 children are still trying to recover from a devastating house fire on Dec. 14, in which they lost everything.
My step son (Wayne), in Birmingham, had his wife walk out on him, after 6 months of marriage, for another man. (This was the second event of adultery in their short marriage. She left him with their son Zachary. She cleaned out their bank acct when she left him. We found out later that she had gotten on drugs.
Wayne was on his way here to spend Christmas with us. His transmission went out on his car. The car is still in the shop getting the torque converter installed. (Bad time of year for a car breakdown.)
After Wayne got here, we got a call from his step mom. His dad was rushed to the hospital for difficulty in breathing. They found 2 tumors and 2 blood clots in his lungs.
They do not expect him to live long.
Wayne rushed home Sunday with John (Cathy's son that lives here). This sort of shot our Christmas plans. Cathy is understandably upset. We spent months planning this day and it all fell through.
My aunt in Louisiana passed away 12/24/07 at 1340 hrs. Like I said, it is not just raining here, it is pouring
Please keep our family in prayer.
Blessings!

Agreeing with Bro. Ron and the others that God will divinely intervene

on behalf of your family, in Jesus Name! I know it is an easy thing to

say, but if you can possibly focus on trusting in the Lord with all your

heart and don't even try to figure it all out. Somehow if you can just

concentrate on "being still and knowing that HE is GOD!! The song

comes to mind, "Lord, I can't even walk, talk or anything else, without

YOU holding my hand". Cast it all upon HIM for He truly cares for you

and your family.

I sincerely believe HE has better days for you and your family IF you

can only believe it!! In Jesus Name!

Blessings,

Your post has brought a whole new dimension to the old saying "when it rains it pours".

I am praying for everyone involved. What a stressful Christmas for everyone. I know that when it all seems tumbling down around you it is hard to take the long view but it is true that you will make it through all of this, that God will keep you, and that better days are to come. I especially will be praying for your son. I know that his heart must be broken. However based on what was going on in the long run it is good that the wife is gone. I know he can't see that now but it is true. I will keep your family on my prayer list.

Psa 34:19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all.

Our prayers are that God will move in your behalf
