View Full Version : Just wondering...
Now I realize for the most part we are Sanctified folk and are not into astrology and all that, but I do have a question...do any of y'all ever take a peek at your horoscope in the newspaper?!

The horoscopes posted in the newspapers are "sun sign astrological forecasts" and as such aren't even "real" astrology - which uses natal horoscopes, not "sun sign" horoscopes.

I read it on occasion for the entertainment value.
This was in a magazine horoscope that I read the month before I got married.
"Maintain a patient and flexible attitiude, especially in emotional relationships......for June brings marked improvement in all aspects of your life,....." that was under my sign
then under my husbands to be in the same issue, ( by the way, we had broken up and the wedding date cancelled)
"In emotional relationships- a marriage or engagement- past barriers should suddenly be removed........After May 24 travel brings unexpected benefits."
Without giving details, suffice it to say that it was on target. We did get married in June>>>> 38 years ago!!!!:wub

I never read a horoscope.
But I honestly don't see what the difference is between reading that or reading a fortune cookie fortune. Fictitious stuff either way

My grandpa got one every year and said it was more accurate about weather than anything else.
But he also believed you could tell how cold it was going to get in the winter by how much wool the wooly worm had on it.

That stuff is downright pagan ... it's based on astrology .....
Those who practice it .. practice WITCHCRAFT
