Most of the comments so far are probably very similar to what people might have uttered about Paul after he converted.
I see no evidence that he has converted to anything... I can't even get the video to work so I haven't seen it yet.
But I'd be willing to give anybody a chance that demonstrated a change in spirit.
I would pray for them... with compassion... and hope.
I'm not saying I'm right and anybody else is wrong...
It just seems to me... that we battle not against flesh and blood... he is flesh and blood. He isn't the enemy. If he is having a change of heart, no matter how small it might be... I would like to see a further work be done. I would like to hope that he could be made free. Free from the hate that has ruled his life for so long.
I'm just rambling... And maybe he is lying... But I would rather hold out hope for 1000 liars than fail to hold out hope for one who was sincere.

I said in the next sentence that I see no sign that he has converted for the specfic purpose of answering that concern should anyone feel I was saying that he had converted.

If cancer has humbled him then maybe God can do a work.... But he won't be able to if the body doesn't hold out hope.

Nothing said about LS here resembles anything that could possibly be said about Paul. Despite your next statement it really does look like you are defending this man. He is still LF. Are you serious? I mean, is this a joke? Are you sleepy maybe and just need more sleep? I would welcome the man with open arms if he converted...I would be hopeful even if he SAID he converted. But that is NOT even the issue. There is no hint in this thread....the topic is NOT AT ALL about the man converting or saying he converted. He is still a black Muslim. He denies EVER having been a racist...as opposed to the repented expected outcome of saying "I am sorry I was ever a racist but I am not anymore".
