A few weeks ago I had a young man from under my ministry call me and tell me that he felt God showed him that Bro. Ewing would be in a wreck and die. I immediately felt like God was in it so I called Bro. George Guy and we began to cover Bro. Ewing with prayer against the death that we felt was looming.

Just got word... moments ago... that Bro. and Sis. Ewing have just been in a wreck. Someone ran a red light and hit him sending him out of control and off the road. Fortunately, while they are being checked out at the hospital, it would appear that Bro. Ewing is only beat up some and that Sis. Ewing only has a broken wrist.

While, at this time, it seems far from life threatening I'm sure that prayer would be appreciated.

Blessings on AFF and the real good that it does in times like this.

Thank you for letting us know. I just sent a message to Vonnie.

Also...thank you for following after the spirit and holding them up in prayer. Sometimes, God gives us visions for us to pray in advance of something. Who knows what could have happened if prayers did not go up on behalf of them prior to this.

I remember Vonnie when she was out here a couple weeks ago say that she thinks her dad is made of steel....he just keeps going and going.

Indeed, God will warn us of things that are a potential danger.

I will be in prayer that Bro and Sis. Ewing will be alright and that the hand of God will cover them and protect their lives. They are very valuable to the cause of God and are indispensible in our ranks.

I've had God to warn me of danger in the past too. Prayer, pleading the blood of Jesus over me and the family has saved our lives. Thank God for the Blood of Jesus.

They just don't get much better than the Ewings. I love them dearly.

I just got off the phone with Vonnie Lopez (Ewing's daughter). They are still in the hospital. Sis. Ewing had surgery on her arm this morning and is pretty banged up.

Continue to keep them in your prayers.

I've known him all my life and all his family too. Went to school with him when we were kids. He's always the same...calm, cool, collected, thoughtful and a great singer/preacher.

Sis. Ewing did, indeed, shatter her wrist according to Bro. Guy. They did surgery on her and they (Bishop and Sister Ewing) are presently - as I type - on their way home from the hospital.

Thanks for the prayers! I'm sure they appreciate it.

There was pray offered Monday night on their behalf during their watch night service. I am not sure if Steadfast had already called Bro. Guy by then or what, but it was said that the enemy would try to Kill Bro. Ewing because he was such an important part of what God is doing and will do in the endtime. But, that God was not done with them and had major plans for them.

The church then gathered around them repectfully and prayed over them. Thank God for prayer and for people that will hold you up!

Just shows that it pays to listen to the voice of God....and to keep our leaders in our prayers.

I can not say it enough...the Ewings are great people who have so much to offer. I miss seeing them at General Conference. The voice still needs to be heard!
