I got an email from my dear friend Sis Pam this morning and I know she would not mind at all me posting this here so please read...
For any who haven't heard yet, my GrandDoll, Sloane, and I were in a wreck yesterday. We were packed and headed to the church to go to her first Bible Quiz Tournament of the year. I was stopping at a red light when the guy behind me fell asleep at the wheel and rear-ended us sending us into the back of the car in front of me. He was doing between 35 and 50 mph and never slowed down. Sort of ironic, since I am super-dooper safety obsessed when it comes to driving in the rain: buckle up, headlights and wipers on, reduce speed, etc., etc. None of that could protect us from a sleepy driver!
We're both at home now and I'm okay, just sore in muscles I've long since forgotten I had! But we're concerned about Tootie. She's very lethargic and vomiting occasionally -- both red flags. Initial X-rays and CT scan at the hospital showed nothing, but we're having her reevaluated this morning.
Please pray for her complete recovery and pray up a little peace of mind for her Mommy and all of us.
And PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE -- always buckle up and always tell those who mean the most "I Love You!"
God bless,
