The father in law of misssionary Adam Hunley has been taken to the hospital with what is thought to be an aneurysm. His name is Bro. Ondris Sirka.

The family is requesting prayer...

Praying right now. You've said the key word for me, Barb. "aneurism". That gets my immediate attention. And we all know what God can do!! We've seen Him work once. Let's believe again.

Bro. and Sis. Sirka were at our church not three weeks ago when Bro. Adam preached for us...he testified and his daughter, Maya, translated (he's Serbian).

Just received this...

Dear friends,

We just wanted to let you know that Maya's father, Ondris Sirka, has been hospitalized in London, Ontario. He suffered a minor aneurysm on Sunday afternoon. We do not currently know the extent of the damage. Tomorrow (Monday), they will be doing more tests to ascertain his exact condition. For the moment, he is stable. We are asking for your prayers on his behalf. We know the Lord can take care of this, and we are trusting that He will. Thank you in advance for your prayer.

The doctors found only a small bleeding blood vessel and he will be released in a few days!!

To God be the glory and thank you all for your prayers...

Praise the Lord!

We are happy to let you all know that the Lord truly has touched Brother Sirka. His hemorrhage was NOT the result of an aneurysm (90% of the time, this injury is the result of an aneurysm). He also has no loss of brain function. The Lord is so good. We are so thankful for the prayers of God's people. We love you all.
