in december and january yes but we have had no fog this year. in fact, we have had hardly any fog in 4-5 years.

this time of the year is usually pretty nice.

Ive only been living in Hanford for ten monthswe had like one foggy day,in JAN. but I came out here a couple years ago for a couple weeks in Jan and it was foggy everyday. Last summer was a blazer, esp. since I lived on the coast for decades.

the 99 coridor is not as foggy as outlying areas such as you are in because of so many open fields maybe. I remember years ago when it was much more foggy in the winter but it really has changed a lot.

the summers can be a like a furnace. last summer we had a unusual & deadly heat wave that killed a lot of people as a matter of fact. I don't mind 90 but when it hits 100 or more it starts draining everyone's energy.
the northern valley does cool off better at night then the southern valley.

Last 2 summers I have spent in Hanford remind me of the time I lived in South Texas. Humidity and heat!! disgusting!

so that means it's gonna be rough on those of us who get produce from Ca. Hmm. Last time ya'll had your freeze, our produce went up quite a bit....WE finally got the snowfall we needed...We haven't had too much snow this year but last week we got almost 2-3 feet. that was from 2 storms... But it's melting fast with the warmer temps... My snowmans head has melted. His hat is resting on his chest now! :heeheehee

I think most of the fires have been in the Orange County. van nuys is in northern L.A county.

if the weather patterns have truely changed then they are telling Californians that wild fires will be year round .

BTW, did you hear that George Bush Sr passed out from heat exuastion today in California ?

.

:sad My heart sank as I looked at the temp this morning...alread 40` and it was only 6:30 then. Bummer. My snowman is now half the man he used to be....:sad and my boys built a really neat fort in the snow and it's going fast. It was really neat cause they each made their own rooms in it.....I went out and wanted to play and said it was now a playhouse....My 4 year old stayed with me and my oldest boys just left and dug out a fox hole in the snow. They were upset because I called it a playhouse!:killinme

Blame Global Warming!:D

If I could put the blame on someone and get my snow back, I might think about....but as it stands, I don't think God would be too happy with me complaining how he runs things!!!!:heeheehee
