someone just sent me an email that he may have had a stroke and is very ill! ! ! and has been rushed to the hospital !!!!!

I just spoke to Brother Epley on the phone had a nice chat with him!- he is home now but he was at the doctor's earlier.

He said he has been feeling numbness in his arms and the side of his face for 2 3- months.He was getting ready for church tonight and felt that same feeling to the point that he decided he could not go to church.
so he did go to the Doctor. they gave him an EKG and it did test abnormal.
he is going back to the doctor tomorrow. this is where the prayers will be well served.

MOST IMPORTANTLY! A preacher called him from La.(forget the name) and said that he prayed for him and that the Lord really touched him and he is feeling better.

AND he said to Thank everyone for your prayers and concerns!

I will be praying for him anyways, there must be something wrong., stroke is bad, I had a dream the other night that I was having one *I thought* and was crying out to someone in the house to come help me, but no one could hear me.

This sounds like we can breath HALF a sigh of relief. At least he's not in the hospital permanently disabled from a stroke at this point. That's great news!!

My father has had this happen to him over the past year. He was going numb on one side... getting sick to his stomach.. and having his vision blur... he has had tests and still they have not found the cause.
I pray Bro Epley will either be healed or the doctors will find the cause and take care of it. Either way... God gets the glory!

I'll encourage him... that's exactly what my stubborn father did... waited until he took a "spell" in the lobby at church and HAD to go to the hospital because one of our ladies in the church is a nurse and urged him to.
Nevertheless... they still didn't find the cause. Bro Epley.. don't you be the typical male... let your good wife and your good doctor look after you!

Yea that is just like men. I hate doctors and I hate going to them and i will not go unless I'm in too much pain to bear it. I told God last week to let me die from a bullet or a car accident so i don't have to face bad health.

Just saw the thread, and I'm glad I read through the whole thing to know that you are okay. I'm glad that you will go ahead and have those tests. We will be praying about those other tests. God can take care of whatever it was that caused the initial problem-- and all the tests can come back perfectly fine.
